How this site works
Privacy
We collect as little as the site can function on.
What we do not ask for
We do not run quote forms, so we do not ask for any of these.
Our tools run in your browser and we do not store what you type into them.
Community submissions
Community submissions are open on company profiles. A submission is checked for personal information before it is stored: email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, policy numbers, claim numbers, card numbers, Social Security numbers, vehicle identification numbers and licence numbers are removed from the text, and the version we keep is the redacted one. The original is never written to our database.
The form asks nothing that identifies you. There is no name field, no email field, no phone field and no account, so a published submission has no author line because there is no author to name. What is stored is what you typed, minus anything the check recognized, plus which product and state you said it was about.
Submissions that the checks flag are held for a person to read rather than published, and submissions that fail are not published at all. Either way the stored text is the redacted text. Anyone can report a published submission, which takes it down immediately and sends it back for review.

Analytics
No analytics or session-recording tools are currently active on this site. The integration exists but is not configured, so nothing is being sent anywhere.
Outbound links
When you choose to follow a link to an insurance company or partner, that destination has its own privacy practices, which we do not control. We never redirect you automatically.
